MySTEPS is an application created and maintained by the Utah Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). The MySTEPS application allows Utah residents to create an account and apply for one of DSPD's Medicaid programs. The application allows residents to apply online, by submitting all necessary documents and information electronically, as well as communicating with Division staff throughout the application process. People found eligible for DSPD's services are placed on a waiting list until funding is available to enroll them in services. MySTEPS allows the person to view and track their Personal Health Information (PHI) stored in the system while they are on the Waiting List and after they enter services. The person's guardian(s) and/or advocate(s) can also create MySTEPS accounts and request access to their PHI in the system.
